The Joy of Giving

An evening planned for relaxation and a movie with friends completely changed due to a late afternoon phone call. We unexpectedly, but ever so gratefully, ended up helping out with the Hoss Foundation to deliver gifts to those less fortunate in a nearby county. What an awesome experience! There were so many adults and children crowded into a cold building where several were huddled around a kerosene heater to stay warm.

The Hoss Foundation, Chick-Fila, and a local church gave away toys, food, gift certificates, and Bible tracks. Everyone was so thankful and it felt amazing to hand out those gift certificates from the Hoss Foundation with Bible tracks to the names drawn from a box. The Hoss Foundation is a wonderful organization that uses it's resources to reach those in need. We've loved being a part of it this year. Check it out: http://www.hossfoundation.com/.

It's so great to have had the opportunity to bring smiles to people's faces and present them with a gift and possibly never knowing how it might change their lives. Thanks for the phone call Steve!!
