Brrrrr!!!

Another week is over or is just beginning depending on how you look at it. It seems like the weekend was so short and it's hard to believe that tomorrow starts another week of work. My week will start early tomorrow, not with work, but with a morning of hunting! It's the first day of gun season! This past week has turned cold and we have seen several days that it has struggled to make it out of the 20's. With the cold weather has also come some snow. The ground has been white most of the week.

Despite the appearance of Christmas outside the house decorations inside still suggest fall and Jeanette is fighting the urge to change the decorations. So if you see a glow coming from our direction you know the lights have been put up and there are plenty of lights left from the wedding!

We are excited about the students being gone for Thanksgiving break but that also means some of our friends are out of town. We spent last game night at Ditty's learning a new card game Lock and then trying out Wii Fit. I did get some pictures but have been asked not to post them. We spent an evening this week hanging out with friends' kids so they could enjoy a date night. It was a fun evening of games and a movie. That is about the extent of our excitement this past week.

This coming week looks to be a short with the holiday. We hope each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and most of all take time to recognize and be thankful for God's amazing blessings in our lives.

Well Jason...nice job...you snagged a Proverbs 31 Hunter Woman for a wife!!

I think the last woman I remember that hunted was MY mom! I grew up in Wyoming where our meat was from hunting! Antelope for Cold Cuts; Deer for a few steaks and a LOT of burger; Elk & Moose for a LOT of steaks and a little burger! All in all, we were raised on venison! Cheap & Good! Really!

I hope you guys will post your hunting successes!

PS - Jason...what's up with the goose bumped arms holding the Pictionary game, out in the snow?! :)
